I purchased this 7.2 megapixel camera sometime April 2006 at around 18,000 hard earned Philippine pesos.
I saw my sister with a somewhat older model, which pushed me to lean towards that decision. A google search found out that the then latest model 750 had the ability to shoot and record videos in MP4 format! That's the same compressed DVD format we've been downloading in our bittorent blogs! That's the same video in AVI format which you can play in your MP4 players, purchased locally at around less than 2,000 pesos (brands like nextbase, orange, pensony, etc.)
Some other features that I liked:
- large 2.5-inch LCD display
- 7-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality 15 x 20-inch prints 3x optical zoom
