Previously, I recommended Mininova.org as my preferred site for searching for bittorrent files, pointing out its user commentaries as an excellent gauge for weeding out fake torrent seeders.  When mininova started displaying ads and utilizing an ad server, the site got slow.

Hence, the need for other directories to search torrents from.

Yotoshi.com – not really a torrent search engine, but get this, a search engine that searches and collates torrents from 5 other torrent search engines. It is currently Indexing every bittorrent hosted on:
