I am not much of a food expert in the sense that I can’t cook, but I can claim that I am very much a food lover in the sense that I love to eat!  And what a wonderful culinary experience I had last Thursday when a group of friends and I went to Katre’s .  Located in the heart of Quezon City’s bustling food strip in Tomas Morato (it is actually behind Alfredo’s),  you will be surprised at how serene the resto is.  The ambience is a bit like being in Sonya’s Garden or Antonio’s in Tagaytay.  Unlike most fine dining restos that are either too “stressful” because of too much customer traffic, or too dark  to actually see the food and the person you are talking too, Katre’s ambience allows you to dine leisurely and have great conversations at the same time.   Read more...
