Millions flock to poll centers on Monday, May 14, 2007 to vote for 12 Senators, some congressmen, and local government officials. Color me excited, why don't you.
I really don't feel the urge for my vote to "count for something". Who will I vote for? Administration candidates who are running for the purpose of abolishing the senate? Opposition candidates hell bent on gaining majority for the sole purpose of an annual impeachment circus? Where the heck did the millions used in campaigning come from? Won't the vested interests that contributed to the blitz come knocking on the winners' doors?
