My cousin D and his family went to this resort last weekend. Just 3 hours from Manila, it is one of the few summer destinations that is accessible by car. To get there, just take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit at San Fernando. Follow the arrows to Bataan-Subic Dinalupihan. Once you reach the Subic Bay Freeport Main Gate, follow directions to find the SBMA Admin Bldg. Behind this bldg. is the ferry terminal to Grande Island Resort.
They booked an overnight stay at the resort for P2,200 nett per person. This is for quadruple occupancy with fullboard meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Also included in the package are coupons for free activities like Banana Boat Ride, volleyball, billiard, fishing and snorkelling. One can also rent an ATV at 50% discount. According to my cousin the rooms and amenities are very nice. They also have day tours for around P600++ which includes the ferry transfers, entrance fee and use of facilities.
