Globe Visibility Review

as submitted by FM Finance Manila member Eric.

I am using globe's visibility with the Huawei data card. Apparently globe has different data cards available for use with their 3G mobile internet technology. The requirements as indicated in the back of the plastic box we received were the following: Pentium 500Mhz CPU, 128MB RAM or higher, 30MB HDD space for drivers and software, and at least Win98Se OS.

The setup of the drivers and the software was very smooth without any problems. The setting up of the account however is a bit of a hassle. By calling Globe's hotline 730-1000, the person at the other end of the phone will tell you that they can't help you with the setup of the visibility and will direct you to the "visibility hotline" at 751-8888 where all you'll get is a busy tone. Complaining to Globe won't help since all they will tell you is that they can't help you because they don't have the knowledge about Visibility to help you set it up.

PSEi                3,466.56         DOWN   38.47
VALUE PHP                 8,383,407,510.00

Wall Street remains flat. Other Asian equities were flat as well.  PSEi corrects a percent.

Since we're lower, let's begin with today's NFS:  81M came from FGEN, 59.5 down.  Jollibee Foods JFC 55 unch 41M, this has also been going on for so long now, like Universal Robina Corp URC (58m 15.75 unch).  We had a short pass for the bull fight when TEL did not respond the other night to its New York ADR drop, but today we paid for it.  Last night's New York Adr stock symbol PHI was up to correspond to our local TEL's rise yesterday, but local TEL was down big today to 2470 on 157M php NFS.  Surprisingly, that's it for the selling side.
