The Orionids Meteor Shower seen here in Philippines

For stargazers out there!!! The Orionids meteor shower will be visible from October 17-25. And if we have good clear skies during these nights, the October's New Moon will further enhance the shower at its peak. At maximum rates, the shower may reach 20-25 meteors per hour that may be seen during the peak nights of October 22-23.  The Orionids are fast meteors and can of produce fireballs. The radiant of the shower (where most meteors can be seen – highlighted part in right photo) will be observed north of Betelgeuse, the brightest star in the constellation Orion, the Mighty Hunter.
