The latest controversy to hit this year's Binibining Pilipinas involves the crowning of Ms. Janina San Miguel as Bb. Pilipinas World.  She won the title despite a very foor, I mean, poor performance during the Q&A portion.  But who could blame her?  Anyone who needs to stand in front of thousands of people wearing nothing but a bikini while answering a  "philosophical" question, plus the chance that she might have been starving herself for days or weeks before the pageant, is bound to fumble up somehow.  For the complete video of her Q&A…

Back in mid January of 2008, I was contacted by a friend and associate in a former business endeavor (which faded to fad status).  We were not in contact for about 5 years now, and I was surprised to hear excitement from his tone about "this new business that will change your life".  Being frank, I said outright that i was not interested in any pyramiding scheme or MLMs.  Being a freind, he convinced me to have a sit down and hear him out.
