Back in the late 90's, the internet had just began to crawl itself into our lives. Aside from a very infantile PSE website that had very few content, there were very few websites catering to the stock fan. Technistock's web content was not yet that informative as well. For stock talk, there was the much rowdy unmoderated idsfinance, who had its now defunct domains at idatasystems.com or idsfinance.com which both pointed to the same site. That Singaporean company tried to setup an information center for asian markets, but it quickly perished with the Asian Crisis. Another forum was philstocks.net, this was owned by analyst Jovis Vistan who now works at AB Capital. They setup up shop right before IDS was about to close, and they themselves closed soon after. If memory served me right, the domain philstocks.net was picked up by accord capital as one of its web based trading site portals, but they presently now only retain philstocks.ph.

Digg emerged two years ago as an alternative where readers post links to stories from other Web sites that they think are newsworthy. The users hit a "digg" button if they like it or a "bury it" button if they don't like it. The most popular stories appear on the front page. Users are encouraged to comment on stories, and they can give comments a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down."
Usually, tech savvy geeks can edit their php in wordpress and insert these digg codes by themselves. However, some people prefer the easier way, via wordpress plugin. It's good that there is this plugin called sociable, with wordpress page at this link for download. Current Sociable Version 2.6.2 is last updated 3-31-2008, and is compatible with wordpress 2.2 to 2.5

Someone named Philfriend2008 uploaded Korina Sanchez' interview with DJ Montano on the Korina's show, Korina Today. It's a three part video which runs for approximately 30 minutes. MxTube (www.mxweas.com/mxtube) is Max's new web application, it allows anyone to search YouTube exactly the same as you would with the YouTube app but with a few extra features. When on the iPhone, MxTube allows watching videos high or low quality, completely independent from connection speed. Videos can also be displayed in portrait or landscape modes and are also playable in Quicktime or the YouTube applications. While on a computer, MxTube offers the same quality search as YouTube, but with high res mp4 (Better quality than YouTube.com in my opinion) and low res 3gp download links with an embed link to the swf.
With it, you can download more than one youtube videos at a time , you can also search youtube video's inside the application itself and download it to your iphone .
