Now that you've finished buying the gifts, the pile you have in your room needs to be wrapped. Arrrggghhhhhhhhhh… I used to enjoy wrapping gifts but not this year!!! I've realized that after spending hours and hours of wrapping, the recipients just tear the wrappers up to get to the gift. So this year, my motto is "Save Mother Earth!" (And save my wallet too!!!). Here are some tips for time friendly, cost friendly and eco-friendly gift wrapping:
1. Buy gift bags. I've bought lots of these from 168. The small ones go for P7-P8 while the big ones are P12 -P15. They have nice designs and are reusable! Lesser use of cellophane tapes too.
Ten days to Christmas!!! Are you done with your shopping? Or are you still scouting around for good buys in the market? For the last minute shoppers, there's very few time left. Even online merchandises can't be purchased this late in the season. Most have stopped receiving new orders. So that leaves you with gift hunting in the malls and bazaars.
After G7's recent bank closure, the Monetary Board yesterday closed down three more rural banks identified with the Legacy group and placed them under the receivership of Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp.
