No amount of magic or prayer could save Wall Street’s 3% plunge, again on “renewed recession fears” take 5.
Asiawide, we were all lower and busy nailbiting and praying that this is not yet “the big one”, and hoping it was just like all those other violent selldowns that eventually came back higher sooner rather than later.
The PSEi fared rather pretty well, dropping only a slight 1%-ish.
Few gainers with relative volume: MIC 3.25, ANI 15.30, and nothing else. Top losers: SOC 1.39 (continuing to lose on one of its projects being plugged and abandoned), ABA .58, MEGW1 .79.
Over 2 Billion of today’s traded value were cornered by 9 stocks only: MEG TEL FPH AGI AP AC URC DMC SMPH.
