Congratulations to the 51st IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) SILVER MEDALIST Carmela Antoinette Lao and Honorable Mention medalists Henry Jefferson Morco and Zheng Rong Wu
After a long and an adventure filled journey, our mathematicians have proved that once again the Filipino can. The Philippine team, led by Mr. Ian June Garces and Glen Mackenzie Ong, was composed of Carmela Antoinette Lao, Henry Jefferson Morco and Zheng Rong Wu. Ms. Carmela Lao, who was the first Filipina to bring home the Bronze Medal in last year’s IMO, made history again this year when she became the first Filipina to win the Silver Medal. Her two other teammates, Henry Jefferson Morco and Zheng Wong Ru also won Honorable Mention. This year’s IMO competition was held last July 2 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Go Pinoys!!!

Congrats to Absolute Traders and Finance Manila for a successful Mega EB!!!
Congratulations to all organizers, speakers and guests for another successful and well attended Mega EB, which was held last night in Mandaluyong.
I regret for not having arrived earlier. I was late due to the super duper horrible traffic along Shaw and was not able to catch the first part of the program. When I arrived, the venue was already jam-packed but I was glad to see so many FM-ers and guests attending the EB. While I was registering, I couldn’t help but smile when I heard some guests gushing over Miko (Boss Sanmig of Tsupitero.com). It really warms my heart to see so many people braving the traffic, the difficult parking
and the “temporary” shortage of food and drinks just to attend.
