Good luck to Team Philippines on their quest at the 2010 IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad)

The Philippines will be sending three participants for the 2010 International Mathematical Olympiad to be held this July in Kazakhstan. Our bets include Carmela Antoinette Lao of St.Jude Catholic School, Henry Jefferson Morco of Chiang Kai Shek College and Zheng Rong Wu of Zamboanga Chong Hua High School. Let’s hope and pray for their success and may their journey be a fruitful one.

How to watch nba online free streaming

Playoffs time once again, and we can't afford to stay home and watch NBA.  Much to bosses' dismay, there are several ways lowly workers like us could watch basketball discreetly while still managing to get the work done.

As with my popular how to watch boxing ppv free article, the most reliable way would still be the use of sopcast.  Since it is free, don't expect any 720p or HD resolutions.  The pixels are manageable and the stream quality tolerable if your internet connection is decent.

download Sopcast and TVU. Both of these are free Peer to Peer or P2P software used to watch live TV. Some channels are of semi-permanent to fly by night once-event channels, so the hardest part is finding channel that has a decent bandwidth to spare.

Last minute Christmas gift ideas…

Ten days to Christmas!!! Are you done with your shopping?  Or are you still scouting around for good buys in the market?  For the last minute shoppers, there's very few time left.  Even online merchandises can't  be purchased this late in the season.  Most have stopped receiving new orders.  So that leaves you with gift hunting in the malls and bazaars.

For real last minute shopping, just concentrate on one area of the mall… for example, go to the towel section and then buy different kinds of towels for your recipients.  Or when at a bazaar, buy the same kind of gift for several people so you can haggle and end up buying at lower prices too.

Funny B and the DJIA

Before going to sleep last night,

Funny B asked her dad, "Dad, will you be going to work tomorrow?"

Boss D answered "Yes, why do you ask?"

Funny B: "Hindi ba down?"  (Is it not down?)

(Boss D sometimes stay at home when the markets are down.)
