Twitter is useless, study shows

A study at webpronews.com shows that twitter is at least 40% useless.

People who believe that Twitter's useful and important are not going to be pleased with the results of a new study.  Pear Analytics tried to categorize 2,000 tweets, and found that 40.55 percent of them fell into the "pointless babble" bucket.

Let's start with the setup: working from Monday to Friday during the day, Pear captured 2,000 tweets over the course of two weeks.  Next, it established the categories "news," "spam," "self-promotion," "pass-along value" (tweets including the term "RT"), "conversational" (questions, polls, and back-and-forth exchanges), "and pointless babble" (with "I am eating a sandwich now" given as an example).

Top wordpress plugins

WordPress is a wondrous development, continually developed for. There are updates for the whole system periodically, and then plugins to help enhance your website in ways you wouldn't be able to with little or no programming skills. They are generally always easy to use and manage, and are available right on the WordPress website. Easy peasy!

Before you go and download a ton of plugins for you site, be warned! Too many plugins will bog down your website, making it sluggish and annoying to the frequent or infrequent visitor, especially on a slower connection. Your website is going to load those plugins before it loads the site, so if you have ten, twenty or thirty plugins (sounds excessive, but people do it), then you're probably going to do more damage than good. Sure it'll be able to do cool things, but no one is going to want to stick around to see what it does! So there you go, you've been warned. Otherwise, have fun with this little list of 10 plugins I have compiled for you. There are some good SEO plugins in here, and check out more on their site.

Anyone who requires to find any data, specifications, options or general information just logs onto the internet and searches for products, information or choices. The internet is a virtual package of any and all information. People access this information in different fashions and ways. Since all this information gathering happens in real time and requires virtual visit by people to internet sites, this traffic becomes a great source of revenue generation. Google Adsense Highest CPC words

Curious as to how Google adsense pay their publishers? Myseoblog.net blogs about keywords with the highest paying yield.   Google does not disclose to their publishers exactly how much web publishers like me get per every click our viewers make, as some words pay more than others.

It is no wonder that there are MFAs. or Made for Adsense websites devoted just for such topics to target and get such keywords, so that their page would come up in google searches.  Users will then go to their pages, and they would get impressions and clicks.

Face to face with leading top pinoy blogger Abe Yuga Olandres

His reaction to the title alone might best describe his humility, "I'm not the pinoy top blogger, Connie Veneracion is!" Connie blogs about cooking and sassy lawyering.

But we're here to talk about Abe Olandres, whose reach goes far beyond simple blogging.  He currently has his hands full with various consulting gigs and seminar speeches and other ICT related businesses.

He hails from my same alma mater, and is actually friends with an acquaintance Bimbo Isidro, webmaster of Motorcycle Philippines and another known site.  Like Finance Manila, Abe already had his hand in blogging as early as 2000, but only took full time professional blogging on April 2005.

His main blogging website Yugatech has its roots from his nickname Yuga from college, and from that susccessful gadget review website Anandtech which he drew inspiration from.
