How to disable Iphone 4, 3g, 3gs multitasking with ztoggle

Are you one of those that installed iOS4 on your old 3g or 3gs Iphone device and find that the multitasking feature is too much for your memory?  Well, I am one of those with an Iphone 4 and even I find that multitasking ridiculous.  For those not in the know, multitasking is not a choice in Iphone 4.  When you are running any app, most apps have no EXIT button, and the only way to really exit would be to press the device’s manual home button.  Doing so will take you back to your springboard or dashboard, but this leaves the app active in your memory.  Unconsciously, you will build up a lot of background memory usage as you use and “exit” more apps.

Iphone 4 jailbreak now available

With Apple Iphone’s latest phone model unit Iphone 4, comes the latest operating system iOS4, which can also be used for older models 3g, and 3gs.  The jailbreak for these older models can be found in this site of devteam, and this redsnow site.

However, the one click user friendly jailbreak for iOS4 for the actual new Iphone 4 unit has yet to be made.  Sources say that hackers already have root access to the Iphone 4 firmware, and actual software for jailbreak is only just a week or two away.

Apple tablet islate or itablet to be announced soon?

Not even out yet, Apple's new product to be launched this month is the new topic of speculation, even sending Apple shares surging.  Apple’s stock (AAPL) on Thursday surged $6.94, or 3.4 percent, to close at a record high of $209.04. That topped the previous closing high of $207 on Nov. 17.

So what would the name of the tablet like device be?

MacRumors has found the historic record proving Apple ownership of the iSlate.com domain to be that of Apple's as of 2007.

The pictures depicted in this blog are just concept ideas of what the speculated islate may look like, which would be priced in the range of $800-$1000.

New Iphone 3GS Review: Nothing new

At the Apple Developer Connection – Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 (WWDC), the New Iphone 3GS was announced.  S, they say, stands for speed.

The iPhone 3G S comes in two models: 16GB and 32GB, which doubles the capacity offered by the iPhone 3G. As usual, they sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen, offer 3G and WiFi connectivity, and have built-in GPS.

Price and availability
• $199 for 16GB version.
• $299 for 32GB version.
• Available on June 19th.

If you are "a valued AT&T customer," AT&T offers an "early iPhone upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and an $18 upgrade fee." The price? $399.00 for the 16GB iPhone 3G S and $499.00 for the 32GB iPhone 3G S. It gets worse: For non-qualified customers, including existing AT&T customers who want to upgrade from another phone or replace an iPhone 3G, the price with a new two-year agreement is $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB).

Thin Laptop showdown: MACbook air vs msi x slim vs Acer thin n light

Coming from those heavy Moses commandment tablet type 15" laptops from a couple of years ago, netbooks weighing at 1.3kgs were a sigh of relief.

But workability in terms of processing power, keyboard comfort, eye comfort from the small screen were the big drawbacks.  Come Macbook air's rivals msi x slim 340 and Acer thin and slim, plus HP's version coming out in the fourth quarter, I see the shift of laptop usage coming back to the 13.5" and above as they weigh the same and goes back to the original laptop power and performance.
